Overview
IP•Express V.35 is a Wide Area Network solution that bridges Ethernet Packets or routes the Internet Protocol through a High Speed V.35 WAN interface. The V.35 WAN port supports Point to Point and Frame Relay Wide Area Networking Protocols with 24/7 proven interoperability.
IP•Express V.35 are used extensively with Wide Area Networks for high performance branch office connectivity and Internet access. Internet Service Providers deploy the IP•Express V.35 as a customer premise solution. Corporations and Government agencies select the IP•Express V.35 for its ease of installation and reliability.
The IP•Express V.35 is a very reliable, high performance and cost effective IP WAN Router and Ethernet Bridge for interconnecting remote LANs and for shared high performance Internet Access. IP•Express V.35 is great for:
• Branch Office Connections • Shared Internet Access • Education District Networking • Multimegabyte File Transfers • Ethernet to V.35 Conversion |
Network Security is provided with Full On Source, Destination Address; Port and Flag IP Packet filtering. Interconnectivity is able to be selectively controlled at the network, device and application layers.
Management of the IP•Express V.35 is accomplished with a Command Line Interface that is accessed through a Console or Telnet connection. Templates of the most common configuration provide for an Edit and Paste configuration. SNMP MIB I and II support is a standard feature.
Rack Mount Kit
The IPExpress products are easily installed in 19" and 23" racks with the Rack Mount Kit. Easy access to both front and rear sides facilitates technician maintenance procedures.
Applications
Two T1 Inverse Packet Multiplexer |
IP•Express V.35 is a high performance, bandwidth scalable, IP WAN router. The V.35 port is able to interconnect to remote locations at 2 Mbps. Standards based WAN protocols, PPP, Multilink PPP, and Frame Relay, ensure interoperability. |
MPEG IP Video Redundancy Switch |
REDundant IP Video configuration automatically switches from the Primary to a Secondary Encoder's IP Video Stream for mission critical broadcasts and is available with the IP•Express V.35-IPM-RED. A one second absence of IP packets from the Primary Encoder results in the switch to the Secondary Encoder. The WAN bandwidth is reserved for a single feed. |
MPEG IP Multicast Streaming Video |
IP•Express V.35-IPM models deliver MPEG IP Streaming Video over Inverse Packet Multiplexed V.35s. The Inverse Packet Multiplexer provides the bandwidth necessary for the delivery of broadcast quality video feeds for a single MPEG Video. IP Multicast is a standard feature of the IP•Express V.35 and is utilized to distribute MPEG video simultaneously to multiple decoders. |
