Engage Communication’s New RS530/RS232/V.35 Serial Over Packet Solutions That Supports From 1 to 60 Connections
Aptos, CA. – May 26, 2010:
Engage Communication ships the IP•Tube SER, a multi-port serial over IP or Ethernet circuit emulation solution. The IP•Tube SER models are available with 1 to 4 RS530, RS232, X.21 or V.35 serial interfaces configured as DCE or DTE.
The IP•Tube SER converts serial data connections, which employ leased circuits, into IP packets that extend the circuit over very cost effective Ethernet based LAN/WAN/MAN wired and wireless networks.
The IP•Tube SER facilitates the interconnection of Serial Data Over IP between Bulk Encryptors (KIV7/OMNI), Data Terminals, Data Acquisition Systems, WAN Routers and Bridges....
Engage’s Chassis solution, CHUB-E, accommodates up to 15 four port slot card versions of the IP•Tube SER to provide connectivity to as many as 60 remote locations.
Engage Communication, founded in 1989, has ROHS compliant solutions that enable organizations to route, bridge, encrypt, and auto protect Voice/Video/Data Networks and to take advantage of the lower costs and flexibility associated with Packet transport while preserving their investment in Circuit based premises equipment such as: PBXs, Phone Switches, Voice and Data Multiplexers, Video and Audio Codecs, and Encryptors...
